Responsibilities

  • Aid in change management and budget control processes.
  • Assist with the transition of projects from Preconstruction to Project Management Team.
  • Administer sub-contracts, purchase orders, and ensure compliance with preconstruction items.
  • Procure monthly sub pay applications and enter data into the system.
  • Participate in project meetings as needed by the project team.
  • Manage Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Submittal processes.
  • Coordinate the change order management process by securing pricing from vendors/subcontractors, reviewing and inputting data for project manager review, and submitting change requests for approval.
  • Follow up with subcontract change orders and purchase orders as directed.
  • Track important project milestones and assist in the project closeout process.
  • Prioritize duties based on project and project manager needs.
  • Manage certified payroll process if applicable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations.
