Responsibilities
- Aid in change management and budget control processes.
- Assist with the transition of projects from Preconstruction to Project Management Team.
- Administer sub-contracts, purchase orders, and ensure compliance with preconstruction items.
- Procure monthly sub pay applications and enter data into the system.
- Participate in project meetings as needed by the project team.
- Manage Request for Information (RFI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), and Submittal processes.
- Coordinate the change order management process by securing pricing from vendors/subcontractors, reviewing and inputting data for project manager review, and submitting change requests for approval.
- Follow up with subcontract change orders and purchase orders as directed.
- Track important project milestones and assist in the project closeout process.
- Prioritize duties based on project and project manager needs.
- Manage certified payroll process if applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction project coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations.
