Project Controls Analyst
About the role
Crusoe is seeking a detail-oriented Project Controls Analyst to play a key role in ensuring effective cost management in a fast-growing business. As a Project Controls Analyst, you will be focused on project tracking, forecasting, performance monitoring, variance analysis, and corrective actions. This role will provide support to project managers and teams across a portfolio of projects. Reporting to the Project Control Manager the individual will work closely with Procurement, Accounting and Finance teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project financial reports adhering to project controls best practices
- Ensure accuracy of cost allocations and monitor purchase orders for cost coding
- Review subcontractor invoices for accuracy
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to establish project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics
- Track project actuals & EAC against baseline budgets
- Maintain organized project documentation
- Review project and estimate cash flows, contract terms, and change orders in detail for financial impact and opportunities
- Effectively utilize the right data, reports, and tools for analysis and benchmarking
Requirements
You Will Thrive In This Role If You Have:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 2- 5 years of experience in cost controls or financial analysis
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to multi task and balance responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- High level of professionalism
- Experience in construction, oil & gas, or engineering industry preferred
