Project Accounting Manager

What You'll Do

• Lead cash flow management, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Oversee Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules and percentage of completion accounting.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and project financial reporting.
• Supervise and develop a team of two accounting professionals.
• Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare reports and financial insights for executive leadership and the Board.
• Analyze processes, improve efficiencies, and identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation.
• Partner with operations to ensure accurate project costing and financial performance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of accounting experience in a project-based environment.
• Experience with WIP accounting, percentage of completion, and job costing.
• Strong understanding of cash flow management and financial reporting.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP/accounting software.
• A collaborative, hands-on leader who enjoys solving problems and improving processes.
