Project Accountant II

Overview

Beacon Hill is seeking a Project Accountant II for a long-standing construction organization. This role will partner closely with project teams and play a key part in project financial management. Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and process subcontractor and supplier invoices
• Ensure project costs are accurately coded, accrued, and reflected in cost reports
• Support monthly project close activities, including project P&L review and analysis
• Process cost transfers and assist project teams with cost report management
• Affiliate with project managers to ensure accurate financial reporting on active projects
• Maintain accounts receivable, project cash flow, and payment status

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• 2+ years of construction accounting experience
• Experience with project accounting, job costing, or cost reporting
• Understanding of subcontract administration, billings, and project financial processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
