Progressive Pulmonary Care Unit RN (Part-Time Days)

About the role

The registered nurse will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a specialized pulmonary progressive care unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with an interprofessional team, including physicians, advanced practice nurses, social workers, and therapists.
• Promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses and post-treatment care.
• Develop and document personalized care plans.
• Communicate effectively across care teams.
• Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Ensure patient safety, provide education, and support rehabilitation efforts.

Qualifications

• Requires an RN license and a nursing diploma or associate’s degree.
• A bachelor’s degree and at least two years of experience are preferred.
• Demonstrated strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Focus on safety and patient advocacy.
