Programs Coordinator

Duties

• Perform professional and administrative work in coordinating facility programs and library operations, inmate supervision.
• Carry out comprehensive program activity reports.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with inmates, staff, and public.
• Possess computer operation skills.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, jail standards, and professional correctional practices.
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Perform multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience

• Must possess a high school or general education diploma with at least two (2) years of experience in customer, human services, education or corrections with public, private or military agency.
• Associates Degree in Criminal Justice, Human Services, Education or related field preferred.
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
• Experience managing volunteers and community partnerships.

Salary

$50,107 – $71,194

Schedule

Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
