Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Create Controls Programs, Systems Databases, and Graphical Interfaces for BAS systems.
- Test control programs and document systems' compliance with design requirements.
- Provide control drawings to engineering and drafting groups.
- Document test results for customers.
- Identify and resolve potential project issues.
- Coordinate with subcontractors or internal installation teams to ensure optimal project outcomes.
- Support Next Level and other contractors in solving building operating issues.
- Communicate with internal employees to ensure accurate and timely labor and estimated productivity.
- Provide ongoing service engineering and support for existing building systems.
- Review and approve engineered submittals to ensure they adhere to scope, budget, and customer expectations.
- Provide input on employee goals and progress to supervisors and managers as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two-year technical degree in Electronics-related studies preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in Electrical, Construction Management, or related fields is excellent.
- Experience and expertise in configuring and debugging BAS program logic.
- Experience with control systems such as Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Distech, Tridium, or Alerton.
- Some experience with BAS programming is preferred.
- Ability to work with electronic equipment like volt meters, amp meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Understanding of basic computer operating systems.
- Working knowledge of AC power circuitry including breakers, multi-phase power, etc.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathetic problem-solving abilities.
Essential Functions
- Able to lift and carry ladders, drawings, personal computers, material, etc.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods on construction sites.
- Able to climb several flights of stairs or ladders throughout a typical day.
- Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Physically capable of kneeling, stooping, and crawling.

Compensation
$50,000 - $125,000 per year
