Programmatic Media Manager, Part Time

About the Role
The Programmatic Media Manager will drive performance, strategy, and account growth for major multi-channel paid media clients. Reporting directly to the Programmatic Supervisor, this role supports media strategy, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting while serving as the subject matter expert in internal and client-facing meetings. You will deploy paid media strategies across multiple channels, guide an internal team toward driving business growth, and confidently defend critical elements of the work.
Responsibilities
- Successfully manage designated paid media accounts, meeting pacing and KPI requirements based on set goals and performance expectations.
- Collaborate with Account Managers and the Media Supervisor to identify client goals, priorities, and efficiency requirements, improving Paid Media’s contribution to business success.
- Actively work to increase billing and channel support for existing media accounts and propose opportunities to expand media coverage for new accounts.
- Continually learn new strategies, test new platforms, and expand Cardinal’s paid media offerings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact internally and externally for all ‘owned’ accounts, ensuring pacing and performance.
- Generate reports, write insights, and communicate with clients for designated accounts.
- Maintain held accounts, including optimizations, structural updates, bidding methodologies, conversion types, and copy revisions.
- Contribute to Paid Media strategy for assigned accounts, working with the Media Supervisor as needed.
- Lead strategic ideation, designing and adjusting campaign strategies to meet client business goals and internal objectives.
- Design and deploy tests in accounts on a monthly and quarterly cadence (structural, targeting, creative, messaging, conversion, etc.).
- Continually test, verify, and improve full-funnel structures.
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of Paid Media experience.
- Experience managing multiple paid media accounts with budgets ranging between $200K–$1M per month.
- Extensive experience in campaign management and strategy across programmatic ad platforms, including DSPs (Viant, StackAdapt, Cadent, Illumin, The Trade Desk, DV360, etc.), DMPs, and other data and ad tech partners.
- Experience directly managing campaigns and working with partners via managed service.
- Experience with full-funnel strategy, lead generation, and measuring incremental lift.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics, GTM, conversion, and optimization strategy (GA4 knowledge a plus).
- Ability to write ad copy, guide creative strategy, identify asset requirements, and establish a creative testing cadence.
- Client relationship management experience, including reporting insights and optimizing toward client business goals.
