Typical Duties
- Assist senior Program Support Specialists by providing Operations Planning support, to include analysis of Range User Program requirements as well as technical analysis for optimizing support configurations
- Participate in Range User planning meetings, in order to provide responses to changes in Program configurations
- Develop Universal Documentation System (UDS) Level II documentation
- Aid senior Program Support Specialists in providing guidance to Range Users on requirements, as well as development of the Program Requirements Document (PRD)
- Review drafts of the PRD and provide technical guidance on required data, in order to facilitate final PRD delivery
- Track change requirements to existing programs and report status to the Mission Operations team
- Aid senior Program Support Specialists in determining Range User requirements that cannot be met, as response to the PRD, via development of the Program Support Plan (PSP)
- Review, update, and coordinate distribution of UDS Level III Range Support documentation
- Aid senior Program Support Specialists in developing Cost Estimates, based upon conceptual or documented support plans for launch and test programs independently or with assistance, from/to the Amentum Finance Department
- Conduct comparative analysis of actual costs expended, versus estimated for launch/test programs
- Aid senior Program Support Specialists in providing program information to government financial community in order to ensure Cost Estimate requirements are understood
- Assist the Mission Control Specialist (MCS) with program-related duties and other tasks, as required by the mission
- Successful completion of the Mission Controller qualification
- Perform planning/operational duties as a qualified Mission Controller
- Other related duties as assigned
- Aceessory degree in a related technical field or equivalent combination of education, training, experience, or related military experience
- Zero to two years of experience working with technical or instrumentation systems
- Knowledge of Western Range instrumentation and the Universal Documentation System (UDS) desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual starting salary for this position is $50.40 hourly. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Salary determined by Collective Bargaining Agreement.
