Program Supervisor Part time
About the role
Adult Services is seeking a Program Supervisor for a home located in Eagleville and Collegeville, PA that provides housing and care for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Supervise direct support professionals and direct the daily operation of assigned residential facility(s)
- Affirm and mentor staff to ensure quality services that meet the therapeutic, social, emotional, health, and safety needs of the individuals
- Ensure adherence to Devereux Philosophy of Care, established Center Procedures, Standards of Conduct, Best Practices, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess and maintain valid driver's license
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited program in an area of human services
- Three (3) Years Of Human Service Experience Required
- Empathetic, a team player, excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understand the theories of behavior management and positive reinforcement, and represent yourself as a positive role model
- Complete eight days of new hire orientation class
- Strong passion for working with and helping children and adolescents with special needs
- Possess a valid license
Physical Requirements
- Significant amounts of walking, sitting, and standing
- Some lifting and/or managing resistance required related to applying physical intervention techniques upwards of 75-100 lbs. or more
- Some repetitive wrist/hand movements
- Normal hearing and vision
- Occasional use of computers and office equipment
- Occasional driving of Devereux vehicles for business purposes
- Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches
