Major Responsibilities
- Manage staff scheduling, workload distribution, and supervision for home visitors.
- Conduct performance evaluation and provide ongoing performance feedback.
- Participate in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and hiring new staff.
- Make recommendations regarding hiring and other staff-related decisions.
- Provide weekly, high-quality reflective supervision and support to a team of home visitors.
- Foster a supportive, team culture that prevents burnout and promotes professional growth.
- Oversee the implementation of the Parents as Teachers (PAT) model, ensuring all performance standards, benchmarks, and affiliate requirements are met.
- Monitor data entry, program documentation, and timelines for developmental screenings (and family assessments).
- Manage the program intake process, risk screenings, and waitlists.
- Conduct case and documentation reviews to ensure compliance.
- Represent the agency in community coalitions, maternal-child health networks, and collaborative stakeholder meetings.
- Work collaboratively with referral sources.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required.
- Assist staff with program activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required in Social Work, Early Childhood Education, Human Services, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Ability to obtain or maintain Parents as Teachers (PAT) National Certification.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 35 years of experience working with young children and families in home-visiting, early childhood, or community mental health settings.
- At least 12 years of supervisory or leadership experience, preferably utilizing a reflective supervision framework.
- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and families prenatal to 5.
- Strong proficiency in data tracking systems and case management software.
- Excellent crisis-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance for community-based work.
