Program Overview
The Program Specialist plays a crucial role in implementing, coordinating, and evaluating programs within the Family Resource Center. This position focuses on health education, injury prevention, and family resource initiatives, supporting patients, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners.
Responsibilities
- Administers programs under direction, including maintenance of best practice knowledge, participant recruitment, training development, and event logistics.
- Creates community engagement by identifying key stakeholders, building relationships, and participating in or leading community events/activities.
- Conducts program evaluation, quality improvement and data management.
- Represents AC in partnerships addressing mechanism-related task forces and coalitions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Qualifications
- Recommended Education: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; Or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Recommended Work Experience: Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices
- Ability to maintain current knowledge of advances and understanding of injury-related risks and protective factors

Pay
Most new hires start between $21.70-$27.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
