This full-time position leads initiatives to enhance nursing excellence, culture, professional development, and evidence-based practice within mental health services.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to enhance nursing excellence, culture, professional development, and evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, quality, accreditation, and IT to align metrics with organizational goals, utilizing data to improve clinical practice, patient outcomes, safety, and workflow efficiency.
- Oversee change management, NDNQI data reporting, develop annual nursing reports, and support accreditation-related budget planning.
- Manage the Behavioral Health Nurse Residency Program to ensure a structured, evidence-based transition for new nurses into mental health roles.
- Partner with senior nursing leaders to translate data into actionable improvements, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous evidence-based nursing care.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in nursing
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR or RQI certification
- 3-5 years of behavioral healthcare experience
