Responsibilities

  • Lead nursing excellence initiatives, enhance nursing culture, support professional development, and promote evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership, quality, accreditation, and IT teams to align nursing metrics with organizational goals, utilizing data to improve clinical practice, patient outcomes, safety, and workflow efficiency.
  • Oversee change management, manage NDNQI data reporting, contribute to the annual nursing report, and assist in budget planning for accreditation programs.
  • Direct the Behavioral Health Nurse Residency Program to ensure smooth transition and skill development for new nurses.
  • Work closely with senior nursing leaders to translate nursing data into actionable improvements, fostering a culture of safety and continuous evidence-based care.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s degree or higher in nursing
  • Current Illinois RN licensure
  • CPR/RQI certification
  • 3-5 years of behavioral healthcare experience
  • Preferred skills: performance improvement and data analysis
