Program Manager, Nursing Professional Practice - Mental Health

Location: Naperville • Full Time • 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives to enhance nursing excellence, culture, professional development, and evidence-based practice in behavioral health.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership, quality, accreditation, and IT to align metrics with organizational goals, using data to improve practice, patient outcomes, safety, and workflow.
  • Manage change initiatives, oversee NDNQI data reporting, develop annual nursing reports, and assist with accreditation-related budget planning.
  • Direct the Behavioral Health Nurse Residency Program, ensuring evidence-based transition-to-practice support for new nurses.
  • Work closely with nursing leaders to translate nursing-sensitive data into actionable improvements, fostering a culture of safety and continuous practice improvement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Master’s Degree or higher in nursing
  • Current Illinois RN licensure and CPR/RQI certification
  • 3-5 years of behavioral healthcare experience
  • Performance improvement and data analysis skills are preferred
