Program Manager-Marketing
Placement within the salary range of $42.36 - $61.42 (hourly) is dependent on relevant work experience and internal equity. For positions represented by a labor union, placement is guided by the collective bargaining agreement.

About the role
The Program Manager, Marketing reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulatory standards. This role is an experienced individual contributor who manages large projects and outside vendors but does not manage NM staff. They work directly with senior internal clients and report to a Program Director or Director.
The Program Manager supports their Director and other Marketing team members within team/project objectives, leveraging expertise in their discipline to maximize impact. They are proficient in current technology relevant to the position to optimize workflow and output, and possess strong communication skills, judgment, and the ability to lead multi-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Leads development of integrated marketing plans and/or complex marketing materials.
- Builds strong internal client relationships by anticipating and understanding client needs, delivering high-quality plans, and effectively managing feedback.
- Effectively manages outside vendors/suppliers and multi-functional groups. Able to brief teams, divide and assign responsibilities, and ensure teams deliver on brief, time, and budget.
- Supports the Director in the management and progression of key initiatives, understanding scope and objectives to deliver against them.
- Helps define the objectives and strategies that guide their team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of additional experience in a relevant field.
- Experience managing relationships with outside vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare marketing, preferably in a hospital setting, and/or agency experience.
- Experience managing direct reports/outside vendors.
