About the role
BarnTools is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead go-to-market and communications initiatives across its expanding product portfolio. This role integrates marketing, sales, customer success, product, and company leadership functions. Key responsibilities include developing go-to-market plans, creating compelling content, supporting sales efforts, and managing campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Develop go-to-market plans for new products, partnerships, and company initiatives.
- Create positioning, messaging, value propositions, and campaign strategies for various customer segments.
- Lead the marketing workstream for launches, including messaging, web content, sales materials, customer communications, campaign assets, and internal enablement.
- Partner with product, sales, and customer success to ensure marketing reflects customer needs, product capabilities, and business priorities.
- Translate technical features into clear operational and business value.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in SaaS, IoT, connected hardware, industrial technology, data infrastructure, or related fields.
- Experience developing and executing go-to-market plans, product launches, campaigns, or company communications.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills to make technical and operational topics clear and compelling.
- Personal experience creating customer stories, sales materials, web content, campaigns, presentations, and executive communications.
- Understanding of how marketing supports complex sales involving multiple stakeholders and longer buying cycles.
- Comfortable working with customers, executives, salespeople, engineers, product leaders, agencies, and creative partners.
- Ability to identify the strongest story within a large amount of technical, incomplete, or unstructured information.
- Balance strategic thinking with strong hands-on execution.
- Structure, ownership, sound judgment, and adaptability to a fast-moving business.
- Care about business outcomes, accuracy, and customer value as much as creative quality.
Qualifications
- Experience marketing to enterprise customers, multi-site operators, dealers, or complex buying committees.
- Experience supporting public relations, media relations, executive thought leadership, or company announcements.
- Experience producing field-based customer content, including photography and video.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, content management systems, marketing automation, paid media, and performance reporting.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and performance reporting.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
