About the role

Join the team behind the tools used by the world’s largest PostgreSQL operators.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools
• Stay up-to-date with the latest PostgreSQL technologies and industry trends
• Write clear, efficient, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
• Document code and provide technical guidance to other developers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years of professional software development experience
• Experience with PostgreSQL and related database technologies
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Passionate about PostgreSQL and its ecosystem
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI)
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)

Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL and related database technologies
