About the role
Join the team behind the tools used by the world’s largest PostgreSQL operators.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools
- Stay up-to-date with the latest PostgreSQL technologies and industry trends
- Write clear, efficient, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions
- Document code and provide technical guidance to other developers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- At least 2 years of professional software development experience
- Experience with PostgreSQL and related database technologies
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Passionate about PostgreSQL and its ecosystem
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Knowledge of SQL and PL/pgSQL
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
Skills
- Experience with PostgreSQL and related database technologies
