About the role
The Legal department at Nordstrom is seeking a Program Manager to support the build-out and continuous improvement of the Legal Operations function. This role involves managing technology platforms, coordinating system implementations, and driving program management and project management.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day administration and optimization of legal and risk technology platforms, including RMIS, ensuring tools are configured, documented, and adopted across the team.
- Support intake, triage, and tracking of Legal Operations requests and projects, maintaining visibility into workstreams, owners, and timelines for leadership.
- Partner with Technology teams including Engineering, Finance, and Insurance, as well as outside vendors to coordinate system implementations, integrations, and process improvement initiatives from scoping through deployment.
- Own and maintain intranet sites such as SharePoint, file share drives, and other Nordstrom tools.
- Drive program management, project management, and knowledge base via JIRA and Confluence.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, knowledge base content, and training materials to drive consistency and self-service across the Legal department.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in legal operations and/or program management.
- Proficiency with Origami (RMIS), JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft 365 suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with legal and risk technology tools such as CLM platforms, matter management systems, e-billing software, and/or legal AI tech.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting data and producing clear, concise reports or dashboards for non-technical audiences.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across Legal, Finance, IT, and other business functions.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Legal Studies, or a related field.
