About the role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Manager to oversee the operational and financial management of our Gastroenterology and Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship Programs. This role will partner closely with Program Directors, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, supporting trainee success, and managing all aspects of program administration.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of fellowship training programs and support Program Directors.
- Ensure compliance with ACGME, institutional, and regulatory requirements.
- Carefully coordinate trainee recruitment, onboarding, orientation, evaluations, scheduling, and graduation activities.
- Maintain program databases, records, websites, and communications.
- Oversee ERAS, NRMP Match processes, credentialing, licensing, contracts, and visa-related documentation.
- Organize conferences, meetings, educational events, and recruitment activities.
- Monitor budgets, process purchases and payments, and assist with annual financial planning.
- Serve as a key liaison among trainees, faculty, hospital departments, and external partners.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of administrative experience in healthcare, medical education, or higher education.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with residency management systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of graduate medical education and accreditation processes preferred.
