About the role

As a Program Manager at Devereux, you will work with other dedicated professionals who share your passion for helping individuals in need. You will oversee a group home and manage staff, ensuring the internal and external facilities are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement occupational, recreational, social and other developmental plans for each individual in their care.
  • Ensure the internal and external facilities of the program are maintained to present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
  • Supervise the hiring, performance management, attendance management, payroll accuracy, and training compliance of each team member.
  • Manage the shopping for the home’s necessities, such as food, clothing, and household items.
  • Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Bachelor's in a related field preferred.
  • A valid non-provisional driver's license.
  • Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
  • One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
  • Two years experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
  • Empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals.
