About the role
The Program Manager at Devereux is responsible for overseeing group home programs, implementing occupational, recreational, social, and developmental plans, maintaining facilities, managing staff, and planning group outings for individuals in care.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement occupational, recreational, social, and developmental plans for individuals in care.
- Maintain the internal and external facilities of the program to ensure they present Devereux as a good neighbor and welcomed member of the community.
- Hire, manage, and train staff, ensuring accurate payroll, attendance management, and compliance with training requirements.
- Schedule and transport individuals to doctor’s appointments, shopping trips, and day programs/schools.
- Plan and participate in group outings for individuals in care.
- Manage shopping for the home’s necessities, including food, clothing, and household items.
Requirements
- A minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- A valid non-provisional driver's license.
- One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
- Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting preferred.
- An empathetic approach and a team-oriented approach to care.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid non-provisional driver's license.

Pay
$58,000 - $68,000 annually.
