About the role
The Program Manager at Devereux is responsible for overseeing group homes, implementing plans for individuals in care, managing staff, and ensuring the facility is a welcoming community member.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement occupational, recreational, social, and developmental plans for individuals in care.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the program facilities.
- Hire, manage, and train staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Schedule and transport individuals to necessary appointments and activities.
- Plan and organize group outings for individuals.
- Manage shopping for necessities.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Valid non-provisional driver's license.
- One year of supervisory experience in a child/adult behavioral health care agency.
- Two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a community setting.
- Empathetic and team-oriented approach to care.
