About the role
The Residential Program Manager at Community Options, Inc. oversees a team to provide personalized care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key responsibilities include managing staff schedules, ensuring quality care, communicating with families, and maintaining a safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels
- Support team performance through effective communication, training, performance management, staff meetings, and employee recognition
- Develop and implement activity programs including the Meaningful Day curriculum
- Communicate with families and guardians of individuals we support as needed
- Ensure individuals are supported according to their Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and Personal Care Plans (PCPs), including medication management, meal planning, and behavior management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and billable records
- Monitor the health and medical needs of individuals and report any concerns immediately
- Manage relationships with families and guardians of individuals in our care
- Ensure work locations and vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies
- Handle additional tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required
- Two years' full-time work experience in supporting people with disabilities
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of state regulatory agency operations and standards relevant to supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities

Pay
$46,000 per year
Schedule
Schedule may change due to business needs and may include evening and weekend hours. May be required to be on-call in cooperation with other management staff.
