Program/Facility Supervisor - Rentals
About the role
We are seeking individuals to assist with event coordination and logistics. Applicants should have experience in customer service and event facilitation.
Responsibilities
- Serves as the visible point of contact for private events and during regular operating hours.
- Supervises opening and closing of Recreation/Senior Center and other facilities as scheduled.
- Organizes, schedules, and supervises activities, personnel, volunteers, and maintenance of facilities including weight rooms, gymnasium, cardio studios, and reservation rooms.
- Ensures proper set-up and take-down of necessary equipment needed for programs or functions.
- Provides security for recreation centers and grounds, enforces all rules and regulations, and ensures the facility is safe for use.
- Enforces program and building policies, models appropriate behavior, and communicates openly and effectively.
- Assists in organizing and implementing programming for specific areas of recreation.
- Supervises participants/staff during programs by enforcing program and building policies.
- Takes proper safety precautions, anticipates unsafe circumstances, and acts accordingly to prevent accidents.
- Assists in the daily/weekly cleaning, maintenance, and safety inspections.
- Responsible for set-up and takedown of necessary equipment needed for programs or functions.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Some college-level education in recreation, physical education, or education preferred.
- Must possess valid AED, First Aid, and CPR certifications within 30 days of hire.
- Must have 6 months experience in recreation programming or related areas.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Must pass in-person or virtual interviews, reference checks, background checks including local police check and sex-offender registry.
- Must provide a safe and enjoyable environment for participants during instruction which includes a full range of physical abilities including: performing and maintaining aerobic exercise, bending, stretching, and lifting minimal weight.
- Must work Sunday through Saturday for an average of 5-10 hours per week.

Benefits
Varied schedule based on program needs. Shifts may be scheduled during the following hours: Monday–Thursday: between 6:15 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. Friday: between 4:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. Saturday–Sunday: between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 a.m.
Pay
Salary Range: $18.22 - $24.64/hour
Schedule
This is a year-round position, which works Sunday through Saturday for an average of 5-10 hours per week. Please select all shifts you are willing and available to work on a regularly scheduled basis (minimum 2 shifts).
