Program Director of School Based Services

Position Summary

The Program Director of School Based Services oversees and leads the day-to-day operations of our school-based behavioral and mental health team, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes while maintaining a financially healthy program.

Leadership, Growth and Development

• Supervision, oversight, and support for the service program staff
• Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with schools
• Data-driven champion by promoting and designing initiatives within the Clinical Team to improve individuals, office, state, and company Balanced Scorecard results
• Collaborating with local hospitals for assessments and referrals for more restrictive care when needed, or teaching other staff to handle this process
• Working with individual clinical staff on productivity standards/goals and caseload expectations
• Completing individual performance scorecards and providing clear expectations to those he or she supervises
• Implementing, living by, and holding others accountable to Necco Corporate Culture
• Empowering supervisees to fail forward
• Working on growth and development of the clinical program through community outreach to secure new referral sources

Assignment of Mentors

• Assigning mentors to those he or she supervises

Quality Assurance/Risk Management

• Ensuring that Quality Assurance Practices are being met
• Working with state level leadership and/or Safety and Risk Team regarding the behavioral health file review process
• Serving as a liaison to all State and/or Medicaid service audits and record requests
• Monitoring the level and quality of services provided to clients
• Working with the State Clinical Director, or designated person, regarding court record requests and subpoenas
• Reporting all agency critical incidents, allegations, and/or concerns to State Director
