Position Summary
Under direct supervision, the Program Coordinator I supports the coordination of daily program operations within the Cardiac Surgery unit to ensure goals and objectives are met in alignment with established timelines, priorities, and funding requirements. This role helps organize program activities, supports communication between staff and stakeholders, and assists with documentation, reporting, and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook up daily activities and operational functions of assigned program(s)
- Schedule 2 specific Surgeons, logistics, and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events
- Aid in preparing program-related reports, documentation, and status updates for management or external partners
- Communicate with staff and stakeholders to provide information, answer questions, and support problem-solving related to program activities
- Draft written communications, program materials, and promotional content as needed
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and tracking systems related to program operations
- Support review of program-related materials or applications in collaboration with supervisors
- Aid in recruitment, outreach, and participant coordination efforts when applicable
- Act as a liaison between internal teams and external/community partners to support program goals
Minimum Qualifications
- Educational requirement: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience requirement: At least 1 year of relevant administrative, coordination, or program support experience required
Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
