Essential Responsibilities
- Aid the Program Director in scheduling and preparing staffing and programming for each camp.
- Supervise and lead the summer ministry team in all aspects of camp programs.
- Maintain a positive spiritual environment for the summer ministry team through weekly meetings.
- Enforce policies and procedures established by Echo Grove Administration.
- Host Echo Grove’s summer guest groups during August.
- Teach or lead activities as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of summer camp experience.
- Experience supervising staff and campers.
- Strong physical ability to assist campers and staff in emergencies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate to peers and adults.
- Desire to work with children and adults outdoors.
- Christian character and ability to live out Christian principles.
- Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, TEAMS, and SharePoint.
