About the role

Under the general direction of the Program Manager, the incumbent supervises, plans, and coordinates the activities of the Electrical Undergrounding Program Section. The role includes directly overseeing Section staff, coordinating with other Safety Policy Division sections, Commission divisions, and state agencies, and serving as a member of the Safety Policy Division’s management team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, plan, and evaluate the work of a multi-disciplinary professional staff.
• Develop, recommend, and implement risk-mitigation policy recommendations using data analysis, research, and other tools.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate a multi-year program, including data analysis, results tracking, evaluation tools, and communication strategies.
• Coordinate work with other Safety Policy Division sections, Commission divisions, and state agencies as needed.

Qualifications

• Describe your experience planning, implementing, and evaluating a multi-year program, including data analysis, results achieved, evaluation tools, and communication strategies.

Pay

$12,562.00 – $15,724.00 per month. Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025 temporarily reduces state employee pay in exchange for leave hours. Salary ranges exclude this temporary reduction. New hires start at the minimum salary of the classification or alternate range.
