Program Analyst.
Duties
Applies commonly used budget process and finance practices, procedures, regulations, precedents policies and guides that specifically pertain to the work assigned.
Prepares the annual branch departmental overhead operating budget for branch chief approval using knowledge of organization and budget guidelines.
Receives funds for work from customer orders, military interdepartmental purchase requests and Portland District direct funds.
Works closely with branch chiefs, HDC Design Managers, and senior program analysts to provide detailed cost information for planning and estimating purposes.
Works independently to research data and develop reports and other documents that identify current and forecasted status of funds and P2 resources for projects.
Maintains and monitors the annual operating budget for that branch throughout the fiscal year to ensure proper fiscal performance and recommends actions to adjust the budget during the year.
Drafts and reviews statements of work, develops funding schedules for the activity’s lifetime, ensures acceptances are received, expenditures are completed, and documents are closed out.
