PROGRAM ANALYST.
Duties
You will employ investigative and analytical techniques to gather process performance data needed to evaluate the various departmental programs.
You will evaluate Quality Performance System (QPS) data, Deficiency reports, Discrepancy Logs, Audit Action records, Rework Reports, and other Inspection Verification Reports in support of process improvement programs.
You will plan, schedule, and conduct studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations and program effectiveness.
You will make recommendations on appropriate actions to resolve instances of program noncompliance and reverse adverse trends.
You will coordinate continuous process improvement initiatives as assigned, and coordinates department level audit responses.
You will enter data into an organized record keeping/data base system.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
- New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.

Qualifications
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing program performance data to investigate trends and non-compliance issues and recommend changes or improvements to facilitate compliance with department programs.
