About the role
The successful candidate will coordinate with project engineers, fiscal and other management officials, and technicians to obtain data and ensure timely completion of projects within schedules and funding limitations. Independently prepares cost projections for the Operations Division mission, including staffing and target cost limitations. Maintains P2 data ensuring accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepares cost projections for the Operations Division mission, including staffing and target cost limitations
- Provides spot analysis of daily trends in program and project progress, recommending adjustments to ensure goals are accomplished within specified timeframes and budget
Requirements
- Conditions of employment: Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This is a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT LEVEL II Certified position.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 15%
- Position is designated as Non-Sensitive-No access is required.
Qualifications
- Who May Apply: Only applicants who meet one of the employment authority categories below are eligible to apply for this job.
- Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration and Real Estate, or other fields related to the position.
- Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Experience performing data entry and processing of routine financial documents such as invoices, purchase requests, or travel vouchers in a financial system; AND 2) Gathering financial information from established reports or systems; AND 3) Entering financial data into spreadsheets or tracking logs to support budget monitoring.
