About the role

Serves as key analyst and centralized capability project manager. Conducts comprehensive functional and operational mission analysis of all associated tasks for the projects. Coordinates, plans, and organizes several complex capability development and force modernization studies.

Responsibilities

  • Performs management and program analyses of issues, and problems concerning missions, functions, or resource programming and develops comprehensive recommendations to management for resolution.
  • Serves as an authority and consultant to other organizations, commands, and/or agencies.
  • Promotes interchange of information on mission requirements, capabilities, deficiencies, and technology applications.
  • Serves as an authority and consultant to other organizations, commands, and/or agencies.
  • Develops requirements and contributes work products to project leads/offices.

Requirements

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Three year trial/probationary period may be required. The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1. Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft up to 25% of the time. The incumbent may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.

Benefits

This position is covered by the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019-R (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the Drug Abuse Testing Program) and must pass urinalysis testing, as required, prior to appointment, reassignment, or transfer and periodically thereafter.

Pay

The incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.

Schedule

In accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and supplemental Army guidance, the incumbent must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each Cyber work role (except Data, AI, and/or Software Engineering) at the assigned proficiency level: 1) Foundational qualification requirements within 9 months, 2) Resident qualification requirements within 12 months, 3) 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) per work role code (which can overlap).
