About the role

The Department of Pathology at the University of Louisville Medical Center is seeking a full-time academic Surgical Pathologist. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and may be filled at 0.8 to 1.0 FTE. Leadership opportunities are available based on the candidate's expertise and qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain scholarly activities and participate in graduate and undergraduate medical education
  • Have fellowship training or a strong interest in specialty areas such as medical renal, thoracic/lung, gynecologic, head and neck, bone & soft tissue, cytopathology, dermatopathology
  • Have prior work experience in an academic setting
  • Show educational achievements and publications in clinical and scientific areas
  • Join a team of accomplished and high-energy faculty who embody collaborative teamwork and foster a welcoming environment
  • Be board certified in anatomic or combined anatomic and clinical pathology and be qualified for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Kentucky

Pay

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
