Responsibilities
- Practice under clinical supervision to evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric and substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with patients and support systems, conduct assessments, and develop risk reduction plans to ensure safety.
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and recovery models.
- Demonstrate effectiveness in individual, group, and family psychotherapy across multi-modal treatment settings.
- Deliver specialized psychotherapy services, assess patient risks, and implement safety plans.
- Work within a supervised plan to achieve licensure, contributing to patient-centered, holistic mental health care.
- Support a culture of mutual respect, diversity, and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master's Degree in Counseling or related field.
- Must hold or obtain Oregon Professional Counselor License or Associate License upon hire.
- Preferred experience includes at least one year of practicum in a behavioral health setting and additional substance use treatment experience.
