Responsibilities
- Safely operate all production machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, hoses, etc.
- Manually handle cased goods around the manufacturing area.
- Follow all safety rules, requirements, and GMP guidelines.
- Weigh and prepare raw materials for processing.
- Provide coverage for line operators during assigned rest periods.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Work with fellow operators as a team to achieve safety, quality, and production goals.
- Assist maintenance with troubleshooting equipment problems.
- Perform general housekeeping and plant clean-up as needed.
- Accurately document production activities and submit required paperwork.
- Work overtime and weekends as required.
- Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming, including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities.
- Invest in and exemplify Milo’s Responsibility commitment, which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, or kneel for much of the assigned shift.
- Must be able to stay at a work station and area for three continuous hours.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable being exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, and occasional exposure to extreme cold.
