Production Technician

Job Summary

The Production Technician I role operates manufacturing equipment, assembles and measures products, and adheres to all factory safety guidelines and standards. • Promote the Sealing Technologies and Enpro culture around creating value and driving excellence in our organization by:
• Operating production machinery and performing machine setups under supervision
• Follows production plans and processes to meet specifications and deadlines
• Aids in basic troubleshooting of production issues
• Reads and interprets simple blueprints and technical documentation
• Performs in-process quality checks using basic measuring tools
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S standards
• Supports the team in improving efficiency through 5S and process improvements

Job Competencies & Qualifications

• Understands basic safety standards and policies
• Basic tool and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to follow verbal and detailed written instructions

Requirements

• High School diploma/GED or Vocational School equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regular communication
• Stand, walk, sit, use hands to handle material, and reach with hands and arms (including overhead)
• Lift and/or move up to 35 pounds frequently
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
