Production Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes, as well as other equipment
• Perform tool changes, touch-offs, and initial part setup, including edge finding and offset calculations
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce accurate parts
• Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and make offset adjustments as needed
• Debur, finish, and inspect machined components to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to support efficient operation
• Maintain accurate documentation and part records as required
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing deadlines and specifications

Qualifications

• Previous machining experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment preferred; trade school or technical training will be considered
• Prior experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing is preferred
• Experience operating CNC machines is preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments accurately
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
• Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and commitment to quality, precision, and workplace safety

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds at waist level
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts
