Production Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, as well as other equipment
- Perform tool changes, touch-offs, and initial part setup, including edge finding and offset calculations
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to produce accurate parts
- Measure and inspect parts using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and make offset adjustments as needed
- Debur, finish, and inspect machined components to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to support efficient operation
- Maintain accurate documentation and part records as required
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet manufacturing deadlines and specifications
Qualifications
- Previous machining experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment preferred; trade school or technical training will be considered
- Prior experience in aviation or aerospace manufacturing is preferred
- Experience operating CNC machines is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments accurately
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with Microsoft Office is a plus
- Demonstrated reliability, dependability, and commitment to quality, precision, and workplace safety
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds at waist level
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely handle materials
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts
