Production Technician

About the role

The Production Technician will operate and perform duties at the manufacturing facility in Coalville, Utah, under the direction of the Production Supervisor. Key responsibilities include maintaining and monitoring efficient operation of all production processes, operating various machinery, and ensuring adherence to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Assess risks before starting tasks, only perform authorized activities, and utilize appropriate PPE.
• Exercise and encourage core values including developing self and coaching others by inspiration and empowerment.
• Maintain and monitor efficient operation of all production processes.
• Make routine operation and preventative maintenance inspections of process equipment, report all unusual conditions, and prepare work orders for maintenance when required.
• Operate Front end Loader, Skid Steer, forklift, screening and crushing systems, and other equipment.
• Monitor and record material inventories.
• Operate and perform duties at rail car loadout.
• Complete the Area Safety Inspection, Mobile Equipment Checklist, and any other required documentation.
• Operate and perform duties at rail car loadout.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Production or other plant related experience strongly desired.
• Knowledge of the aggregate manufacturing process and equipment a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong work standards and attendance record.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders and work in both hot and cold environments.
• Able to work in awkward positions for short periods of time.
• Able to work in confined areas and not have a fear of heights.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
