Responsibilities
- Perform routine production tasks, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and plant startup/operation.
- Troubleshoot plant shutdowns and perform corrective maintenance to allow for timely plant restarts.
- Cookordinate scheduling of planned maintenance and perform preventative maintenance on plant components.
- Safely and efficiently operate units to continuously supply products at the appropriate quantity and quality.
- Monitor plant process performance and make appropriate adjustments to remedy deviations.
- Read and interpret P&ID's, Equipment Manuals, Electrical Schematics, One Line Diagrams, and various company procedures.
- Calibrate analyzers, field instrumentation, and troubleshoot control system problems.
- Perform equipment lock-out tag-out correctly, issue Hazardous work permits, and oversee contractor’s work performance as necessary.

- Safely troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotating equipment and associated mechanical systems including compressors, pumps, fans, and valves.
- Prepare and execute projects to improve facility availability and reliability.
- Work in a team setting, as well as individually.
- Manage preventative and corrective maintenance work in compliance with established intervals.
- Communicate with other Linde business groups and contractors for support when required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Mechanical/Maintenance experience required.
- 3 or more years in Production Operations experience is highly desirable in any of the following fields:
- Air separation or similar complex process control function
- General maintenance of industrial equipment
- Compressors and compressor maintenance
- Industrial Mechanical
- Industrial Electrical or Electrician
- Instrumentation and control
- Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Military technical fields: Engineers, Machinist Mates, Electrician Mates, Gas Turbine Technicians, Boiler Technicians and Nuclear technicians, among others
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting/repair skills.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and test/measurement equipment, etc.
