Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Identify production variance using Production Viewer, PI, Cygnet, and other tools.
• Devise step-by-step plans to return wells/pads to clean average if necessary.
• Escalate to appropriate team members for assistance.
• Review production volumes and address issues with the Engineer.
• Verify no overdue site inspections using PBI tool or emailed PDF flash report.
• Inspect plunger wells and ensure they are within KPI thresholds.
• Target verifications and gap maintenance using COW tool and SIMOPS.
• Follow up with Lead Area Tech on codes exceeding 7 days.
• Create Work Management for site entry, JSA, and automation/maintenance tasks.
• Communicate handover requirements to night operators and collect facility run tickets.
• Maintain general housekeeping and enter work orders as needed.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform startup/shutdown of various equipment.
• Troubleshoot plunger and gas lift wells, and identify over/under injecting.
• Understand wellhead compression and free flowing wells.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of plunger and gas lift wells.
• Knowledge of artificial lift principles and equipment operation.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and completing Excel-based reporting.
