Production Technician

About the role

Join Linde Inc. as a Production Technician in Neosho, MO. This role involves working 12-hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 operating environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with start-up and shutdown of equipment and processes, monitoring and adjusting operating parameters.
• Accurately and safely perform valve line-ups.
• Prepare equipment for maintenance activities, including implementing Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
• Safely issue and manage permits for maintenance work.
• Exercise sound judgment to operate the facility safely, reliably, and efficiently.
• Assist with procedure development and train new employees.
• Communicate effectively with customers and suppliers as needed.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on equipment and processes.
• Recognize when issues require escalation to more experienced specialists.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.
• Demonstrate initiative, dependability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• More than two (2+) years of production operations experience, or an Associate Degree with previous plant operations internship experience.
• Strong interest in and hands-on experience with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency using computers and common software applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher is preferred.

Skills

• Electrical and mechanical systems.
• Computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Hand tools, meters, instrument calibration equipment.
• Electricity, electrical systems, and motors.
• Physical abilities (climbing, working at heights, lifting).
