Production Technician

About the role

The Production Operator plays a crucial role in achieving safety excellence and environmental compliance while maximizing production at CF Industries. This position involves both indoor and outdoor tasks, including operating valves, adjusting fluid levels, and monitoring equipment. Night and weekend shifts are required as part of a 12-hour rotational schedule.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety, compliance, and operational excellence by following safety procedures and reporting hazards.
• Operate and adjust machinery and equipment to maintain process controls.
• Investigate and address unusual process or mechanical issues, recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain competency in assigned production area functions, including process monitoring and control.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and foster a culture of safety and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures or process upsets to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements

• Minimum H.S. diploma or GED, with 2 years of trade school or college education preferred.
• Candidates must pass pre-employment screenings and assessments.
• Ability to work in a continuous operating environment, including 12-hour rotating shifts.
