About the role
The Production Supervisor at Holman Upfitting in Kansas City, MO, is responsible for providing day-to-day direction to the department employees, analyzing equipment, and improving efficiency, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Coach and guide team members to improve knowledge and skill where required.
- Review production schedule, evaluate and prioritize work orders, and assign to appropriate personnel.
- Oversee the daily activities required to process the current jobs within established schedule.
- Supervise, train, counsel, and motivate department employees.
- Investigate, recommend, and implement work processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Analyze, resolve, and assist employees in problem resolutions.
- Communicate and provide feedback to management regarding activities, issues, and / or problems on jobs.
- Prepare production reports, efficiency reports, and other requested reports and distribute to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure all employees are trained and compliant with company policies and procedures.
- Promote a positive team environment.
- Possess knowledge of assembly processes to limit scrap materials.
- Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the production processes.
- Ability to think on your own and request assistance when needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Leadership experience
- 3-5 years of work experience in Automotive/Truck based industry
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight, and/or warehouse operations
- Understanding the process of building a vehicle/Shipping and Inspections
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Must be able to work in multiple environments – shop, outside in all types of weather conditions as well as in an office
- Must pass a physical, drug test, and criminal background check prior to employment
- Valid driver’s license

Pay
Competitive wages starting in the range of $66,320.00 - $94,505.00 USD annually for full time employees.
Schedule
Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am-2:30 pm
