Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Manage employee performance including coaching, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain production workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize waste, downtime, and overtime.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, environmental standards, and company procedures.
• Conduct routine safety briefings and proactively identify and address unsafe conditions.
• Track and report production metrics using KPIs and plant scorecards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production and operational goals.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or converting operations is required.
• Experience working in Lean or Six Sigma environments is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
• The ability to make independent decisions and lead a team effectively is necessary.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts as required is important.
