About the role
As a Production Supervisor (2nd shift) with Trane Technologies, you will use your passion for quality and cost effectiveness in manufacturing to help lead our team in La Crosse, WI. You will monitor and coordinate the daily operation of a high-volume, lean manufacturing environment, and partner with other department leads/supervisors to achieve team and plant goals. The role is on-site (5 days per week).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for overall performance of the team, focusing on safety, quality, cost, time, and output.
- Supervise materials usage to ensure a smooth production flow.
- Support ongoing plant programs and goals by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with other department supervisors/leaders in Operations, Quality, HR, Finance, Materials, Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.
- Regularly communicate goals and plant-wide initiatives with the leadership team and all members.
- Engage in training, development, and fostering positive employee relations.

- Leadership: Guiding teams in achieving production goals, implementing plant-wide communication, and motivating teams to adhere to safety, quality, and cost targets.
- Problem Solving: Identifying production-related issues and implementing process improvements to ensure consistent output quality and adherence to safety regulations; supporting plant goals such as units per man hour, safety and 5S, TAKT attainment, and cost as measured by overall plant performance.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Previous manufacturing supervisory or leadership experience.
- Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
- Effective communication skills that demonstrate a supportive team member.
Pay
Annual Base Salary Range: $65,200.00 - $93,660.00. This is a salaried position and is not eligible for incentives, sales commission, or overtime. The actual compensation will depend on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation.
