Production Supervisor - 2nd shift
Fluidra is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the team in Sparks, MD.
Schedule
2 pm - 10:30 pm, Monday - Friday (2nd shift)
Responsibilities
- Use Lean Principles to formulate strategies resulting in on-time shipments and increased productivity.
- Communicate daily manpower planning to the Operations Manager.
- Initiate cross-training among all employees.
- Apply basic disciplinary methods to ensure fairness and consistency for all manufacturing employees.
- Monitor employee conformity to safety laws and policies.
- Communicate daily strategy to the Operations Manager and Planner.
- Own the manufacturing floor regarding material presentation and 5S for all areas.
- Assist with incorporating proper manufacturing layouts.
- Ensure all individuals on the manufacturing floor have the proper PPE.
- Assure all safety practices are followed throughout each manufacturing process.
- Suggest solutions, improvements, and prevention steps for safety issues.
- Train, motivate, coach, and correct employees to ensure standards are met.
- Inspect equipment and chemical usage for unsafe workplace conditions.
- Formulate strategies to increase safety while improving productivity.
- Review processes to ensure they meet all safety requirements.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to find root causes and implement prevention measures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Pay
Expected salary range is $65,000 - $70,000, with an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
