Responsibilities
- Print, file, organize, and prioritize documents and work orders while trailing between departments.
- Manage and coordinate short flow, priority requirements, and process orchestration to monitor due dates when on-time delivery is in jeopardy.
- Identify potential problems, analyze, and propose alternatives for resolution for any issues that may jeopardize on-time delivery.
- Facilitate work order changes and update schedule priorities.
- Be reactive to sudden, urgent obstacles within scheduling and production jobs.
- Generate and follow up on timelines for crucial parts and orders.
- Add and adjust priorities to Work Orders and Production Schedules when needed.
- Become knowledgeable of and follow company procedures.
- Support other team positions and departments as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet company growth and customer expectations.
- Work well under pressure; meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.
- Demonstrate cooperative and civil behavior with co-workers, supervisors, and customers at all times.
- Successfully participate as a member of a team.
- Work with minimum supervision and learn quickly.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments on-site.
Requirements
- High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates without a diploma or equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment.
- Computer skills required: ERP software, Microsoft Word, and robust Excel knowledge.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Noise levels ranging from quiet to extremely loud.
- Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor, including but not limited to eye, ear, and foot protection.
- May occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-50 pounds.
