Production Manager - Watertown, WI

About the Role

Oversee staffing for the Production Department to meet customer demand, including both hourly and salary production roles. Fulfill the duties of the Facility Manager in their absence. Serve as liaison between production personnel and staff on matters of communication, decisions, and policies. Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments. Ensure continuous improvement of methods and processes. Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, housekeeping programs, work rules, and regulations, providing a safe and clean workplace and complying with all regulatory agencies by leading by example and following up. Participate and support food safety auditing in a timely manner. Communicate with procurement regarding raw material needs or deficiencies.

Requirements

• Four-year degree preferred
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Previous management/supervisory experience required
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication skills including interpersonal, written, and verbal
• Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis (company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future)
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position
