Responsibilities
- Makes sure work orders (WOs) are completed on time to meet customer deadlines.
- Organizes regular meetings to close unfinished WOs.
- Serves as the main contact for scheduling machines and managing conflicting priorities.
- Works with Production Leaders to set production goals for special circumstances.
- Acts as a liaison between Configuration Analysts, Schedulers, Stockroom, and Production Leaders for manufacturing order releases, holds, and availability.
- Coordinates the completion of ASRs and RMRs, ensuring accurate data entry into the scrap tracker.
- Monitors daily production status and resolves issues with support groups.
- Investigates and corrects discrepancies in sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Maintains a tracker for containment inventory on the production floor.
- Ensures WIP is released according to customer forecasts and coordinates its movement between departments or facilities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Experience using Microsoft products.
- Knowledge of business systems related to production scheduling.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects in a timely manner.
- Discretion, confidentiality, and professional behavior.
- Understanding of and experience with continuous improvement tools.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in a 24/7 global business environment.
- Physical location: Rochester, MN.
- Shift: Monday through Thursday, 0530-1600.
